Lindsey Hatcher
Wellness practitioner
Skill worker
Parent mentor
Licensed social worker
I’ve worked in the mental health & social services field for over 15 years; in numerous settings (outpatient, prison, community & in-home), licensed as both a social worker and clinical substance abuse counselor. Through my own life and ongoing work with clients, I realized how important both mental and physical health are together transitioning more into incorporating wellness.
Top things that I believe are essential including: balancing brain/body connection, moving your body, being open-minded to new skills, practicing mindful awareness and the ability to want to understand ourselves while coping with challenges.
In 2017, I took a break from direct services and got involved with case management. Since I’ve been involved with Kenosha County Behavioral Health & the Families First program for about 8 years, initially collaborating services for clients, coordinating/ managing services for another agency and then ultimately returning back to being a practitioner, after missing directly working with clients.
