Overview
CCS is a program that provides an array of community-based psychosocial rehabilitation services for children and adults who have a mental health and/or substance use diagnosis.
Eligibility
-Resident of county
-Eligible for Medicaid or BadgerCare
-Has mental health or substance abuse diagnosis
-Meets requirements of state functional screen
Program Focus
-Builds on client’s individual strengths
-Array of services available by professionals dedicated to focusing on client’s needs
-Provides opportunities for growth through advocacy, therapy, skill building, social networking & family involvement
Services
*EHH is approved for the following services within Kenosha County*
Individualized skill development & enhancement (ISDE)
Skills are taught through modeling, monitoring, mentoring, supervising, practicing, cueing, assisting, educating, etc. Examples include: communication, problem solving, self-regulation, decision-making, conflict resolution, daily living, etc.
Wellness management
Behavior tailoring, relapse prevention, resilience training, social support building, increasing engagement in treatment, developing appropriate coping strategies, providing after care and assertive continuing care. Services are motivational.
Parent Mentoring
Mentoring provided through individualized skill development & enhancement (ISDE) to increase the overall parenting skills needed with a child diagnosed with mental health.
Specialized Services
*EHH is able to offer specialized skills under
wellness management & ISDE service array.

Meditation
Meditation can be a powerful tool for helping kids manage emotions by providing them with techniques to calm their mind & body.
Examples include guided imagery, breathing exercises, mindful art, mindful movement and body scan.

MBSR
Mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR) is an evidence-based program designed to provide specific training/techniques to help manage stress, anxiety, depression and/or pain.

Mindfulness
Being mindful or teaching a kid how to practice mindfulness includes paying attention to the right now without judgement. It is often incorporated with meditation and/or yoga.

Trauma informed yoga
The practice focuses on creating a safe
and non-judgmental environment related to reconnect with their bodies, build resilience, and develop emotional regulation skills. This form of yoga integrates mindfulness, body awareness, and gentle movement, with an emphasis on feeling grounded, empowered, and in control of their own bodies and emotions.

Yoga
Teaching and practicing yoga has many mental health benefits including increased focus/concentration, boosted self-esteem, increased emotion regulation, social skill development and better sleep.
